Where Stocky is still ahead

The important gaps, so you can rule UreyukiBox out quickly if they are your core workflow:

• POS integration. Stocky was built into POS Pro. UreyukiBox is an admin app, so a retail-floor workflow built around POS devices does not map over. There is no committed delivery date for a POS surface. Stocktakes, receiving, stock adjustments and barcode scanning already exist in the admin app.
• Other sales channels. UreyukiBox is built around the Shopify store and does not support non-Shopify channel workflows. There is no committed delivery date for multi-channel support.
• Supplier payment terms. UreyukiBox does not store per-supplier closing dates or payment cycles, so the purchasing cashflow calendar projects spend at the date stock arrives. Real payments land later, so the calendar shows the money as needed earlier than it truly is — safe, but not exact.
• Legacy imports are separate. Through Aug 31 accepts only supported CSV files and copied tables that you saved before shutdown. It does not retrieve new data from Stocky and must not be mixed with the official nine-file package.
• No review history yet. UreyukiBox is newly listed on the App Store. If a long public track record is part of how you choose software, that is a fair reason to pick an older app.

Where UreyukiBox goes further

• Safety stock you can reason about. Reorder points carry a service level and a statistical safety-stock component computed from your own demand and lead-time variability — shown as a breakdown, not a black box.
• Double-ordering prevention. Suggested quantities subtract stock on hand, inbound transfers, and orders you have already placed in the app — so a slow supplier does not get ordered twice.
• Slow movers handled separately. Products that sell occasionally are estimated from order frequency and size rather than a 30-day average that swings wildly.
• Money-side visibility. A purchasing cashflow calendar projects when draft orders will hit your bank account, and dead-stock detection shows where cash is sleeping.
• Supported Stocky records are stored. Suppliers feed current operations and product–supplier links are retained. Historical purchase orders, line items, adjustments, imported reports, normalized rows and their original source files can be searched and reviewed in Stocky Data, then exported as CSV or PDF. Plan-restricted rows are masked on the server rather than delivered to the browser.

Import the official Stocky export

Migration is the part a Stocky replacement most often fumbles. The current path starts with Shopify’s official export and keeps its package boundaries intact:

1. Request the export. Choose Request data export on Stocky’s current read-only page, then use the link sent to the store’s registered email.
2. Keep all nine files. Preserve manifest.json and all eight CSV files unchanged. Header-only CSV files are valid and remain part of the package.
3. Preview before confirming. On Sep 1 onward, select the complete package and review file, row, relationship and unmatched-record counts.
4. Keep legacy sources separate. Through Aug 31 accepts only supported CSV files and copied tables that you saved before shutdown. It does not retrieve new data from Stocky and must not be mixed with the official nine-file package.

How the other Stocky alternatives compare

Prices are lined up at the tier that actually reaches the same job — forecast, purchase order, receive, write back to Shopify inventory. Comparing first tiers against first tiers flips the answer (Stockie’s $4.99 tier is alerts only; its purchase orders live on the $59.99 tier). Figures were read directly from each App Store listing in August 2026, with every rating and review count re-checked on 5 August 2026.
