The checklist

   Request the complete official export

   On Stocky’s current read-only page, choose Request data export. Shopify prepares the package and emails a download link to the store’s registered address.

   • Download the package before the read-only access period ends.
   • Keep an untouched copy outside your laptop — cloud storage or a controlled company archive.

   Keep all nine files together

   The former Stocky API and Chrome-extension copy paths are retired and cannot start a new copy. Use Request data export in Stocky, download the package from the link Shopify sends to the store’s registered email, then select manifest.json and all eight CSV files together on UreyukiBox’s Sep 1 onward tab. The official export is one package containing manifest.json and eight CSV files. UreyukiBox retains all nine originals and normalizes only records it can match safely; it does not invent missing fields.

   • Do not rename, merge, delete or resave a file. A CSV containing only its header is still valid.

   Preview before importing

   In UreyukiBox, open CSV import, choose Sep 1 onward and select manifest.json plus all eight CSV files together. Review the row counts, relationships and unmatched records before confirming.

   • Shopify has stated that historical Stocky purchase orders cannot be imported into Shopify itself. UreyukiBox preserves supported purchase-order data and all source files without changing current Shopify inventory.

   Keep pre-shutdown files separate

   Through Aug 31 accepts only supported CSV files and copied tables that you saved before shutdown. It does not retrieve new data from Stocky and must not be mixed with the official nine-file package.

   Decide what replaces the decision layer

   Shopify now provides native supplier management and purchase orders, Sidekick can recommend products from sales and draft a purchase order, and Flow can send low-stock notifications. Decide whether that is enough or whether you need persistent reorder policies, lead times, MOQs, automatic alerts and supplier-ready order emails.

What Shopify gives you instead

Shopify has expanded its native inventory tools: supplier management and purchase orders, Sidekick recommendations based on sales that can produce a draft purchase order, and low-stock notifications built with Shopify Flow. These are real alternatives to a spreadsheet. What they do not reproduce is a persistent product-and-location replenishment policy with supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, automatic alerts and supplier-ready order emails.

Shopify has also said plainly that historical Stocky purchase orders cannot be imported. So the native features are a starting point, not a migration path — which is why the export step above is not optional.

Common mistakes

Renaming or resaving one file

The manifest and CSV files form one verified package. Keep the originals untouched and work only on a copy.

Assuming your reorder points are in Shopify

They are not, and neither are lead times. Confirm you actually have them in a file before the deadline.

Trying the retired direct-copy path

Every Stocky API stopped on August 31, and the former Chrome-extension path cannot start a new retrieval. Use Request data export and the complete official package.
