Stocky migration guide

Import Shopify’s official Stocky export

CSV import in UreyukiBox has two tabs: Through Aug 31 and Sep 1 onward. On Sep 1 onward, select manifest.json and all eight CSV files from Shopify’s official Stocky export together, review the preview, then import the supported data. Through Aug 31 keeps the existing CSV and paste workflow unchanged. Neither route infers missing fields or changes current Shopify inventory, transfers, product catalogue, or tax settings. Stocky data already saved in UreyukiBox remains available in Data, including supported CSV and PDF exports.

The exact nine-file package

Keep one official download together. Header-only CSV files are valid and must not be removed.

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Request the official Stocky export

    Open Stocky’s current read-only page and choose Request data export. Shopify prepares the package and emails a download link to the store’s registered address.

  2. Step 2

    Keep the complete package unchanged

    Download the folder and keep manifest.json plus all eight CSV files together. Do not rename, merge, delete or resave a file; a CSV with only its header is still valid.

  3. Step 3

    Preview the package in UreyukiBox

    Open CSV import, choose Sep 1 onward and select all nine files together. UreyukiBox checks the manifest, filenames, row counts and cross-file relationships before saving anything.

  4. Step 4

    Review and confirm

    Review which records can become operational data, which remain source evidence and which do not match. Confirm only after those counts agree with the downloaded package.

  5. Step 5

    Keep legacy sources separate

    Use Through Aug 31 only for supported CSV files and copied tables that you saved before shutdown. Do not mix those files into the official package.

Questions

Can UreyukiBox still retrieve data directly from Stocky?
No. The former API and Chrome-extension paths are retired and cannot start a new retrieval. Request Shopify’s official Stocky export and import the complete nine-file package instead.
Is the official Stocky export import free?
Yes. The preview and supported import are available on the Free plan. The Free plan limits active inventory operations to 100 products, but it does not block preserving the supported official export.
Can I upload the ZIP file?
No. Download and extract the package first, then select manifest.json and all eight CSV files together without changing their names.
Does importing history change current Shopify inventory?
No. The official-export import does not change current Shopify inventory quantities, create transfers, modify the product catalogue or assign tax settings. The preview explains what becomes operational data and what is retained as source evidence.
What should I do with files saved before August 31?
Keep them independently and use the separate Through Aug 31 tab for supported legacy CSV and copied-table formats. That tab does not retrieve anything new from Stocky.

Preview before you save

UreyukiBox shows source counts, handling and unmatched records before confirmation. The official-export import is available from the Free plan.

Install on Shopify

The interface, the App Store listing and support are available in English. Alerts and supplier emails use English for stores outside Japan and Japanese for stores in Japan. Supported Stocky official exports, saved CSV files and copied tables can be imported manually from CSV import; missing fields are not inferred. Purchase orders follow your store too: totals are in your store’s currency, with editable purchase-tax presets for 53 countries. The US, Canada, Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia start with no tax line because one national rate would be misleading.
